Анотація

Стаття присвячена особливостям впровадження когнітивних технологій до викладання іноземної мови за професійним спрямуванням. Автор розглядає сутність когнітивного підходу, аналізує його головні принципи та пріоритети. Зокрема, розглядаються можливості застосування когнітивних технологій до навчання читання та анотування професійних статей і текстів, вивченні фахової лексики та граматичних явищ. Обґрунтовується методична доцільність когнітивного підходу у процесі викладання у вищих навчальних закладах на немовних спеціальностях.
(The article deals with the peculiarities of the introduction of cognitive technologies to the teaching of foreign languages for professional direction. The author considers the essence of the cognitive approach, analyzes its main principles and priorities. The article substantiates the methodical expediency of cognitive technologies application in the process of teaching professionally oriented foreign languages in
higher educational institutions at non-philological specialties.
Recently, the higher educational institutions intensify the process of learning foreign languages through the introduction of the variety of teaching technologies. The cognitive approach in learning makes communication method more dynamic and gives a new stimulus to the development of teaching methods. Cognitive technologies allow a new way of simulating the process of students learning the material;
activating their speech and thinking activities in foreign language classes; promoting the formation of the ability to communicate in foreign language in professional and scientifi c situations; taking into account communicative problems of students and based on principles of consciousness in obtaining knowledge and acquiring skills in the educational process of higher education.
The article discusses the possibilities of using cognitive technologies in teaching reading and annotating professional articles and texts, studying professional vocabulary and grammatical phenomena.)
