Анотація

This scientific article analyzed the transformation of the concept of the house in the context of the global era. From the set of globalization processes, the factors that stimulate the transformation data are identified: permanent existential challenges, blurring of semantic boundaries, and secularization. Proceeding from this, the philosophical and religious studies of the global era, namely, the theory of modern «privatization of religions» and secularization processes became methodologically relevant. This approach allowed to reveal two main modes of house- building and home, and analyze the mixing of other fundamental dichotomies (private-public, sacral-profane, everyday-not-everyday).
